Google is the most successful search engine in the world and likely in the history of the Internet as well. Every second millions of people are online searching for answers to their questions, information, shopping, emailing, uploading pictures to share with friends and family and writing or even blogging and Google has encompassed almost every aspect of the Internet helping every person to find exactly what they are looking for.
Its user-friendly status certainly can’t be denied; Google literally has everything you need for free all in one place. Google’s mailing service, Gmail and now Google Wave has hundreds of millions of accounts and growing every day. It’s so flexible and constantly changing for the better that most users have more than one account adding to the company’s confidence in its service. Google also has its own blogging service called Blogspot as well as a conversion calculator, a language translator and an online document software (Google Docs) that allows you to create or open any file from anywhere as long as you’re logged in. As far as convenience is concerned, no other search engine can match up to this corporate giant.
And yet Google’s popularity is also its own worst enemy. Because it’s universal, you’ll get more than you bargained for with any search you conduct. While you can search for any subject and come up with hundreds of thousands, if not millions of sites on containing the information you need, like most users you’ll likely never go past the first page. If you can’t find the information you seek, you’ll probably just reword it so that you can come up with different search results. It’s not a bad thing, but this habit is what leaves millions of other websites listed on Google floating about the Internet like dust in the wind.
This doesn’t stop people from trying to procure the top positions on this search engine. There are numerous ways to get to page one on Google but it takes a lot of hard work and time to get there so most people don’t even try. Don’t waste your time and submit your site to Google Through their submit tool because it just takes too long to see any results. All you need is a few links pointed to your page form a few other sites that are in the same field as you and the Google bots will find that link and trace it back to your page and you will be indexed. If you can get ranked high enough in the Google search engines you can for sure start making money with Google.
