The Fruit Flush

While engaged in the fruit flush diet, you are prohibited to consume foods and drinks like coffee and other caffeinated drinks, juices, tea, sodas (even the diet variants), alcohol, dairy products, fatty foods, sweets, cooked vegetables and starches. What the 3 day fruit flush diet only allows you to consume are raw vegetables, proteins and other sources of lean protein and of course, lots of fresh fruits! As for your protein intake, make it a point that it does not contain calcium caseinate, casein, fructose, sodium caseinate, acesulfame potassium, acesulfame-K, aspartame, evaporated cane juice, sugar, sucralose, sucrose and other food items which contain food coloring and artificial flavorings. Here is a sample meal for the fruit flush diet, so you could have a better understanding of it;

For Day One;

- The first day is referred to as the pre-flush phase. For this, you are to drink six-ounces of protein drink which is then followed by eight to twelve ounces of plain water. For your dinner, it will consists of three to six cups of raw (uncooked) vegetable salad, seasoned with one to two tablespoon of either flaxseed oil, ½ avocado or olive oil, three to six ounces of egg whites or other sources of lean protein and half of lime or lemon.

For Day Two;

- Starting from 8:00 in the morning up until 4:00 in the afternoon, you are to eat one serving or one cup of fresh fruit and drink at least eight to twelve ounces of water and all of which should be consumed every after two hours. For your dinner, you are to have three to six cups of raw and fresh vegetable salad seasoned with one to two table spoon of flaxseed oil, olive oil or avocado, half a lime or lemon and a glass of protein drink.

You can also try a cranberry juice detox diet if you want. Cranberry is packed with lots of fiber and is deemed beneficial for flushing out the toxins in your system and helping you lose weight as well.
