If you switch red meat to lean meat, you still get your required protein intake but minus the health risks to your heart. The same goes for ditching bad cholesterol for good fat sources. All these are needed by your body, and should be taken in moderation.
The next is exercise. Regardless of what age group we belong to, our bodies need exercise. So, it is important to incorporate this into your lifestyle. Do a good mix of cardiovascular exercises and weight training exercises. Cardiovascular exercises are good for your lungs and heart, and burns energy immediately. Weights, on the other hand, build muscles, which then burn off calories and stored fat even at rest.
It’s well known that there are millions of persons in the world who want to get in shape but go unsuccessful. I think it’s too bad that people don’t learn that there are not really any quick and easy ways available to consumers and the best way to get in shape is diet and perseverance.
