Organic Gardening Natures Way

Organic gardening is becoming very popular these days. Most everyone is worried about the economy and their health. The way to go is the eco friendly way, it is becoming more and more the way of life. Organic gardening requires the natural way. Instead of fertilizers and chemicals, use compost instead, compost can be made easily at home. Use old food waste such as, banana peels, apple peels, or other fruits and vegetables that would normally be thrown into the trash. Some other good sources for compost, are yard trimmings, such as leaves, pine needles, or grass trimmings. Place all of these things into a plastic container until ready for use.

For the organic gardener, it is a good idea to avoid pesticides that are, chemically unhealthy for the plants, and for human consumption. Native Americans thrived upon American soils for years, without sickness or disease, and relied specifically on nature. If using some sort of pesticide, make sure it is organic and free of chemicals, all natural. Going all natural is sure to make a healthier, productive, plant.

Plants and flowers need sunlight, some more than others. A great alternative for indoor or outdoor use is a LED Grow Light. These lights provide very sufficient and healthy lighting to the plants that may not have the sunlight that is required for the plants to grow efficiently. The LED Grow Lights are very much energy efficient, and they can be used indoors or outdoors. It would be a good idea to use these lights in greenhouses, or indoors when trying to produce plants during the season’s sunlight is hard to come by. The full spectrum LED Grow Lights put out very little heat, so no need to worry about plants becoming over heated.

Going organic is the way nature intended. Join forces with nature and get started on that organic gardening. Eco friendly is the way it was intended, be a part of the wonderful, new, change.
