The newest things to hit the technology scene are portable printers. These handy little devices allow you the convenience of printing things off anywhere you go. This is particularly useful if you are a student with little time to meet assignment deadlines. The portable printer is sleek, compact, and will fit directly inside your laptop case. Most of them come with a rechargeable battery and have the capacity to hold up to 30 sheets of paper. Some portable printers even come with a built in scanner. Most also come with a standard 1 year warranty, and the printing quality is just as good as that of a standalone printer.
It is pretty common nowadays to see a student taking a portable printer to school. However, some students hold off on bringing their printers to school because they fear their teacher will not allow them to be used during class. In most cases, a teacher will be OK with a student using his or her own printer during class as long as the printer is being used for school or homework purposes. It is best to clear it with your teacher first before using your printer during class. You have a much better chance of being able to use your printer in class if you are a college student rather than a high school student. College professors tend to be more lax about rules than high school teachers are.
Regardless of whether you are in high school or college, a printer you can take with you anywhere is an invaluable tool for a student. These printers can be of use to any student who has limited time to complete assignments at home, or does not want to wait in line to use the community printer at school. It is already very common for students to use laptops in class, so why not bring along a printer, too? It makes perfect sense, and can help you be more product and efficient in class.
